of mass trauma.

The Rebels Project was formed by a group of Columbine survivors in the wake of the Aurora theater shooting in 2012.

These survivors simply wanted to offer their support for those who had experienced similar trauma.

The Rebels Project is now a

growing organization with over 1000 members across the nation who are all seeking support within

their healing.

The primary message of the organization is to make sure the growing community of survivors knows that they are not alone in their experiences.

The Rebels Project leadership team is comprised of survivors

who represent several different affected communities.

All of the organization’s

events, activities, and gatherings are organized, managed,

and conducted by survivors

who generously volunteer their time and talents.
